2.2 Opaque armor

-       Five-sided Armoring of personnel compartment to provide protection against 7.62 x 51 NATO Ball ammunition according to EN1522/1523 Level B6.

-       Floor armor is designed to protect the occupants against the simultaneous detonation of 2 x DM51 hand grenades.

-       Fuel tanks are protected against the simultaneous detonation of 2 x DM51 hand grenades.

-       Radiator grill is protected against 7.62 x 51 NATO Ball ammunition according to EN 1522/23 Level B6.

-       Armor consists of all-welded ballistic grade steel construction.

-       Opaque armor has been designed and manufactured in such a way as to ensure that a projectile following a linear or angled path shall not enter the vehicle’s interior without contacting the armor material.

2.3 Transparent armor

-       Transparent armor has been built to protect against 7.62 x 51 NATO Ball ammunition according to EN1063 Level B6.

-       Transparent armor has been designed and manufactured in such a way as to ensure that a projectile following a linear or angled path shall not enter the vehicle’s interior without contacting the armor material.

2.4 Blast protection

-       The vehicle is designed to protect its occupants from simultaneous detonation of 2 x DM51 NATO grenades and small antipersonnel explosive devices detonated under the vehicle.

 

 

3. Vehicle Design

3.1 Exterior
 

-       The vehicle body has a modular design and features a removable rear compartment. Thus the vehicle can be easily reconfigured from an APC to a double cabin pickup with the cargo bed.

-       The vehicle exterior has been fitted with grab bars and handles for ease of entering and exiting the vehicle.

-       8 (Eight) roof eyelets for vehicle lifting or recovery purposes.

-       3 (Three) towing hooks (2 front and 1 rear)

-       3 (Two) additional rear recovery attachments

-       2 (Two) rearview mirrors (heated and electrically controlled)

-       Extrication points for all the doors

-       A total of 9 (Nine) Gun Ports: 4 (Four) on either side of the vehicle, 1 (One) in the rear door.

3.2 Interior

-       Interior walls and ceiling are fitted with a soft, non-flammable, thermal and noise insulating material, to provide the maximum operational functionality.

-       The vehicle floor is fitted with a non-slip rubber material.

-       First-row seating: 2 (Two) individual seats for driver and commander are equipped with 3-point seat belts.

-       Second-row seating: 2 (Two) forward-facing foldable tactical seats.

-       Individual tactical seating for 6 (Six) in the rear compartment (3+3 facing the midline).

-       Gunners stand (adjustable height).

-       2 kg. fire extinguisher

-       Reverse camera with dashboard monitor

3.3 Doors & Hatches

-       The vehicle has a total of 5 doors:

o   FDL (Driver’s Door)

o   FDR (Commander’s Door)

o   RDL

o   RDR

o   Rear Personnel Door (single door)

-       All doors are fitted with Heavy Duty hinges rated to the weight of armor.

-       Doors can be locked from both inside and outside.

-       The vehicle is fitted with a roof hatch located in the mid-roof position.

-       Hatch can be locked from the inside only.

-       All the doors, hatches and locks have been designed to prevent unauthorized access to the vehicle while ensuring fast evacuation of the crew in case of emergency.

3.4 Suspension

-       All suspension components have been upgraded to cater for the increased weight of the vehicle.

-       Suspension components have been designed to offer great on-road & off-road performance.

3.5 Brakes

-       The vehicle is fitted with the ABS disc brakes (front and rear) rated to the GVW

3.6 Wheels

-       The vehicle has been fitted with large 335/80R20 all-terrain tires to provide better performance over a variety of terrain.

-       The vehicle rims have been upgraded to 2-piece take apart 20” rims with a high weight rating.

-       The vehicle is fitted with Run Flat inserts in all 5 (Five) tires, including the spare tire as standard.

-       The spare wheel is located on the rear wall of the vehicle

3.7 Electricals & Lighting

-       The vehicle features a 12V electrical system.

-       Red/white dual-mode interior LED lights are installed in the personnel compartment and commanders’ cabin.

-       LED headlamps with main and low beams.

-       LED fog lights

-       Front indicators are located next to headlamps.

-       Red/Blue strobe lights are fitted in the grill and in the rear edge of the roof

-       The vehicle features 2 (Two) tail light combinations.

-       The vehicle feature front and rear universal mounting rails for searchlights and other electrical equipment

-        

-       Siren with the public address system

-       Pre-wiring for VHF radio and antenna installation

-       All electrical connectors are protected from a reversed connection.

-       The cable runs for each electrical system have a distinctive color-coding.

3.8 Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning

-       The Cooling of the vehicle engine has been upgraded to be able to cope with the most extreme weather conditions.

-       The vehicle is equipped with air ventilation system, heater, and air conditioner.

-       The vehicle is also equipped with auxiliary air heating/cooling conditioner for rear occupants

-       Two exhaust fans, controlled from a switch located in the personnel compartment, have been mounted in the rear of the vehicle to provide additional heat dissipation from the interior, as well as easily remove any smoke which may be present inside the vehicle.

4. Delivery Terms & Conditions

-The customer is required to supply an acceptable End-User Statement that is required for export clearance of the vehicle.
