ARMOURING

 

Opaque Armoring

 

Internally built, covers all of the opaque areas of the vehicle, including doors, frames, roof, etc...The whole unit will be covered with level B7 materials, inlcuding overlaps. No ballistic gaps will remain on the vehicle.

Opaque materials will incluide UD, Dyneema, Ballistic Steel, Laminated Kevlar, Ceramic and others.

 

Covered Zones:

 
 

Roof: Armoured with 1/4” steel
Frames and columns: Armoured with 1/2” stell, overlaping with glass surface
Doors: Armoured with 3/8” steel and multiple UD / Dyneema laminated layers
Floor: Armoured with ballistic nylon, meeting DN-51 granade threat
Overlaping throughout the whole unit.

 

 

Glass armouring

 

55 mm glass will replace OEM windows, these glass pieces are built in our own glass factory with top quality as well as high end technology.

The glass looks original once it is instaled, and its Policarbonate / Poliurethane / glass  composition makes them one of the most resistant glass in the industry.

The distortion on the glass is minimal, and it can match any tint requirement the final user might desire.

 

Extra equipment (included):

·         Batery, Fuse Box and main computer will be covered with ¼” steel.

·         Gas Tank protected with ballistic steel and Twaron

·         Run Flat Set

·         Bilstein Shock absorbers and suspension modification to keep proper vehicle handling.

 

 

Ballistic resistance for level B7 (CEN):

 

7,62x51 mm FJ(3)/PB/HC1Type P80 (Armour Piercing) and lower threat calibres such as 7.62 x 51 mm (M 80) and 5.56 x 45 mm FMJ.

 

 

Warranty:

 

Every unit is covered with a limited 24 month or 40,000 kms warranty. Whatever happens first.

Technical assistance for repairs outside Mexico, USA and Argentina is available upon request.
