1.) Single fired from 2 Qty 40mm M203 launchers. 2 Launchers allows for 2 kills per mission. Keep in mind a 40x46mm HE round has a 15m kill radius. Please note this is for precision strike work, while minimizing collateral damage. It’s like a sniper in the air utilizing a 40mm grenade. This same drone can be used as one way suicide drone, and we offer a kinetic payload which mounts on the drone. When considering ROI ( Return of Investment), utilizing the 40mm launcher allows you to use the drone for hundreds of missions, which allows your defense budget to be spent more wisely. Suicide drones are only one way, used once and never return. With our system you can fly multiple sorties and missions back to back all day long. This offers better long term value. Please note the drone can offer ISR capability for Recon and Intel by adding the camera payload.
2.) Single fired, 2 launchers and 2 rounds per flight.
Overview:
The MEGA Chile Man Packable Drone has two mission roles. One is Precision Air to ground strike capability, utilizing 2 Qty 40x46mm Low Velocity M203 type grenade launchers. Each launcher holds one round each, 2 rounds total per flight sortie. Type of ammunition we can provide for this type of mission is 40x46mm LV HE ( High Explosive) and HEDP ( High Explosive Dual Purpose), which will penetrate light armor and vehicles. For example penetrating a car’s roof to eliminate the target inside the car.
In addition, 40x46mm Less lethal rounds can also be utilized as well. Smoke rounds for marking targets for artillery, or CS tear Gas to disperse protest and rioters. Simply, the 40mm weapon allows for a wide range of munition to be fired accurately from the air to various ground targets. Please note the twin 40mm launchers can be positioned for firing from the air to the ground (perpendicular), or positioned horizontally to engage other drones while in flight.
The other function of the weapon when positioned horizontally is C-UAS ( Counter UAS (Drone) ). The MEGA Chile can engage enemy drones in the air and fire upon them a wide range of counter drone munitions. Currently we provide an anti drone round that has 385 Qty.No. 4 Steel Buck Shot that fires an immense amount of steel shrapnel at an enemy drone which shreds and destroys the drones carbon fiber parts, rotors and other critical flight operation parts. We also provide the ’Spider Round”, a round which has a 4 wire lines that hit and tangle the drone’s rotor blades and forces it to fall from the sky.
The system offers the user a wide variety of capability.
Please note, in areas that have dense canopy of jungle and trees, suicide drones will not work. It’s very hard to fly through trees and jungle with a FPV or fiber optic guided drone.
To penetrate canopy, the 40mm being fired on a target above the canopy or through an opening allows for greater chances of penetration and hitting your target. This system is more appropriate for the environmental challenges you may encounter in Nigeria. By getting close to your target via boat in waterways, or truck by road, the drone can be launched from multiple positions. It fits in a back pack and can be deployed from the bag and into the air within 3 minutes. A 2 man team can walk, drive or by boat to get close to their target, and then deploy.
Regarding open field flight, range and speed are critical. Our drones offers much more speed and range than your typical hobby FPV suicide drones used in areas such as Ukraine. Depending on your mission requirements and area of operations, we can support, customize the drone, ammunition and train your men to make sure you’re successful. If you could provide what your objective is, we could help suggest the right Drone configuration and ammunition that would increase your chances of success. |
