-    Water tank will be made out of  ST-37 quality steel plates having thickness of minimum 4 mm.

-    Tank capacity will be 3000 lt and its interior will completely be coated with anti-corrosive paint.

-    Tank will be flex-mounted onto its chassis which will both enable repairs of the tank as and when needed and resist tensions and torsions.

-    Tank roof  will be provided with a manhole of Ø 50 cm having rubber gasket and being easily opened. 

-    Tank interior will be provided with sufficient number of baffles made out of ST 37 steel  plates and having thickness of minimum 4 mm.

-     Water level gauge of the tank will be fixed at a place being easily seen by the brigaders working with the pump.

-     Tank roof will be reached with an ascending ladder.

-     Tank will be provided with a filling inlet having a storz B coupling.

-     Tank will be provided with an air vent tube and a delivery outlet of Ø 2 “ for cleaning purposes.

FOAM TANK
 

-     Foam tank will be made out of  stainless steel plates having thickness of minimum 3 mm.

-     Tank capacity will be 200 lt.

-     Tank roof will be provided with a filling inlet and bottom will be provided with a discharge outlet for cleaning purposes.

FIRE PUMP

The fire pump will be driven by either a PTO unit or an intermediate gearbox to be connected inbetween gearbox and differential of the chassis.
Pump body will be made out of cast iron material and shaft out of stainless steel material. Both ends of shaft will have bearings.
Pump will be able to deliver minimum 2000 lt/min at 8 bar pressure.
Pump priming will be automatic ejection
Pump insulation will be achieved through soft ( teflon ) gaskets.
Pump will be provided with a discharge valve for discharging water residue in the pump.
Pump will be equipped with installation to fill the tank from external sources

RAPID INTERVENTION HOSE REEL

The vehicle will suitably be equipped with a manually-operated 2 nos repid intervention hose reels which will be connected to pump outlet and have a single-piece rubber hose of Ø 1’’ diameter and minimum 40 mt long and fitted with a nozzle. The nozzle will function for both jet and spray purposes.

MONITOR

The vehicle will be equipped with a roof-mounted and manually-operated monitor which will be used for both water and foam injection. Monitor rating will be 1600 lt/min and it will operate within horizontal range of 360° and vertical range of -20° +75°.

ACCESSORIES

-         4 nos of suction hoses, each 3 mt long and fitted with storz A couplings on both ends.

-         2 nos of strainers.

-         4 nos of delivery hoses, each 20 mt long and fitted with storz B couplings.

-         2 nos of pipe wrenches.

-         2 nos of fire fighting nozzles.

PAINTING

All steel sections of the body will first be coated with corrosion-resistant primary paint and later with Ral 3000 brigader’s red paint in accordance with fire fighting standarts.
