Main performance:

Strong antitank capability:

The main armament of the vehicle has the bore structure of the tank gun of 105mm type adopted, which can fire the APFSDS shell of high muzzle velocity, penetrating the modern main battle tanks with its high specific kinetic energy; which can also fire the HEAT shell and gun-launched missile, further enhancing the antitank capability and the fighting capability against the armored targets.

Fighting capability against multiple targets:

The vehicle is provided with the high explosive shells, capable for killing the enemy effective strengths, and destroying the enemy earthworks and firing points.

Strong firepower and strategic and tactical mobility:

The vehicle is provided with the auto-tracking image-stabilized fire control system of sighting and guiding integrated, having a strong fighting reaction capability and a high first-round-hit probability as well as capable for aiming and firing on the move.

The vehicle has the wheeled chassis adopted, having a small combat weight and a high power-to-weight ratio, and meanwhile is provided with the central tire inflation and deflation system, having stronger high speed and cross-country capabilities, and can be airlifted.

Stronger survivability:

Besides its mobility which improves its survivability, the vehicle has the armor protection to a certain extent, has the fully-enclosed turret adopted and is provided with the secondary weapons, NBC devices, fire extinguishing device, smoke screen laying device and communication devices, etc.
