System Operation

This multiple shot weapon is uniquely designed

to accept all less lethal 38mm projectiles manufactured,

up to 8 inches in length. The TGL-38-6

employs a revolver type tension magazine, with

mechanically operated magazine stops (with a

capacity of six rounds). Each trigger pull brings

the round into line with the firing pin before

releasing hammer.

A new 38mm weapon system with up to 36 barrels that can be vehicle mounted, or hard mounted on perimeter defensive structures, to rapidly deploy a blanket of less lethal munitions into, or over, a hostile crowd...that breach loads the same industry standard conventional 38mm less lethal CS, flashbang, and colored smoke rounds, already in your armory for 38mm single shot or 38mm MPG grenadiers, or breach loads NonLethal Technologies’ specially designed 10 inch 38mm rounds with higher capacity CS, Screening Smoke, Impact, or Flashbang deployment...all at far less cost than competitive proprietary squib fired systems.

When the 36 bbl system is loaded with the high capacity 10 inch CS rounds, each with 7 mini-grenades, it can rapidly deploy over 250 mini-grenades into the crowd within 2 minutes from a safe distance up to 150 meters.

Two such configured systems mounted on one armored vehicle can deploy over 500 CS mini-grenades, or a mix of CS mini-grenades and flashbang-distraction projectiles downrange in that same short time...now that is nonlethal firepower!

It is a smart tactical approach to confront a hostile crowd, and with multiple well-positioned armored vehicles, each mounted with two systems deploying CS at varying distances downrange, riot police units will likely face less hand-to-hand confrontations and fewer injuries that are common with the large hostile crowds.

The system is designed to hard-mount on a wide range of land vehicles and marine vessels, or permanent structures such as prisons, government buildings, military base perimeters, or embassy compounds.
